The site has no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers.

Our financing form and our contact form send us what you type in them — your name, your phone number, your email if you give one, the car, your message, and on the financing form the figures and the lender you prefer — together with the page you sent it from and the time it arrived. We use it to call or write back to you about the car and, if you choose, the finance. The financing form deliberately does not ask for your income, your employer, your ID number, your KRA PIN or any document: the lender asks for those, at the branch.

The WhatsApp button on the contact form opens your own WhatsApp with the message ready to send. The website does not receive what you write there.

Videos on some pages are hosted on YouTube or Vimeo. They load only if you accepted cookies; those providers then set their own cookies and see your IP address. If you chose only necessary cookies, the video is replaced by a still image and nothing is requested from them.

Our website host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and to diagnose faults.

Your enquiry is kept as a record in Speed Thrill Auto's business system, so the right person in the showroom can pick it up, follow it through and see what was said before. A copy is emailed to our showroom team. If the business system cannot be reached at that moment, the enquiry is emailed to the showroom directly instead, so it is never lost.

The business system is operated for us by Boocom Africa Technologies Limited, which processes your information only on our instructions and for no purpose of its own. It is stored on Amazon Web Services servers in Cape Town, South Africa, encrypted and sent only over encrypted connections. Emails about enquiries are delivered by Amazon's email service and, if the business system is unavailable, by Resend. This website is hosted by Vercel.

This means your information may be held outside Kenya. We chose these providers for the security they apply, and our agreement with Boocom Africa Technologies requires it to keep your information secure and confidential.

Only the people at Speed Thrill Auto whose work is answering enquiries, and those who manage them. Access is set by role inside the business system, and every change to an enquiry is recorded.

If you told us which lender you prefer, we pass your enquiry to that lender so they can take it forward. They decide the rate, the term and the outcome, and they are responsible for the information you then give them.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

For as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of a sale. We review enquiries we no longer need and delete them, and we delete yours whenever you ask us to.

The only thing stored in your browser is your answer to the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every visit. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

If analytics are added later, they will only load after you accept, and this page will be updated to say what they collect.

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
